-
Always allow 1 hour after feeding
before you allow your child to go into the water.
-
If a child has a cold, infection of
any kind or is unwell then do not allow them into the water until it has
completely cleared up.
-
Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio and
Whooping Cough cannot be contracted from chlorinated water. The
recommendation of the Department of Health (UK) is that ‘your baby does
not need any immunisations before they go swimming’. However, if you have
any reservations about taking your child into the water then it is better
for you to wait until your baby has been immunised before enrolling on one
of our courses.
